Only a few complete audio interviews used in this book are available from the Lowenstein Family collection or National Library of Australia.

These include two Jewish refugees, Mark Feinberg, (1883 – 1976) and Werner Lowenstein, “Dunera Boy” (1922-2007) Sadly, the other immigrant’s interviews were not amongst the archives kept by Wendy Lowenstein.
