NOTES: Keane discusses his work in Melbourne, Australia with Egon Erwin Kisch, a Jewish communist and anti-war activist, born into the German-speaking Jewish community of Prague. Kim Keane was married to Wendy Lowenstein’s (nee Robertson) sister Shirley. The interview was conducted in the Keane’s Wellington home probably in 1972/3. .
